TEEN TECH WEEK ACTIVITY

Teen Tech Week is March 7-13!!

Let's be really techie about it.

Review a book, any book in print or online, and I'll post it on our blog. Send me an email at roxburyplys@gmail.com. When I get the email, I'll proofread the review (for errors, not opinion) and put it on the blog with a picture of the book. Send me the review anytime before March 15th. I'm reading Inexcusable by Chris Lynch right now. I'll post the review when I'm done.

Sushi ordered

Monday night we will definitely be eating REAL sushi along with our candy sushi. I just ordered an array of different kinds of yummy rolls. I'll pick up chopsticks, but if you have your own, feel free to bring them. Cannot wait to see you Monday night @ 7pm.

“ Why I Love My Library” 50th Anniversary Adult and Youth Essay Contest
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Roxbury Public Library, the Friends of the Library are holding an essay contest entitled “Why I Love My Library”. The winners in each category will read their essay at the Library’s Anniversary Celebration on Friday May 7, 2010. In 500 words or less tell us how the library has touched your life. Entries should be sent by February 13 to FriendRoxburyLib@aol.com.

Sushi Night!!

Save the date: Monday, February 1st @ 7pm, we're rolling Rice Krispie Sushi @ the library. Yes, Rice Krispie Sushi!! Check out these pix to see what I'm talking about. Oh, and we'll be providing dinner for you too. Pizza this month, but I'm working on getting a sushi chef in the future to have the real deal.
